i just got a car off a friend its a 87 olds cutless ciera How do i adjust the front seat im 6.5 feet tall for some it won't go back the passenger side seat and the driver seat is built into one i pulled the lever on the bottom but i cant get the back piece ether to go back please help someone

The seats are setup so that it doesn't go back too far so the person in the back can sit comfortably. It's unfortunate that you are taller. Without taking the seat out of the car and repositioning the seat tracks, your out of luck. If you do this, have a body shop set it up so the track is installed correctly with proper bracing in the floorboard. You can also try shopping around for another vehicle, maybe you will feel more comfortable in a big truck.
