Truck is chugging in 2nd and 3rd gear.

i have a 91 Power Ram 150 manual transmission and in 2nd and 3rd gear she chugs. Local mechanic says nothing's wrong. could it be the fuel line?

I have the same problem only I have a 98 Dakota, have you found a solution to your problem? I'm still trying to figure out what could be wrong with mine
