How do you replace the overhead light in a 2000 Focus?

it simply pops out

The whole headliner needs to come down, then if I remember correctly theres a plastic guards that screws off and your in. Just remove and replace twisty style. Let me know if that doesnt work, Ill re-check it

We eventually were able to just pop the light out.

Yeah, just pyre it gently with a butter knife...there's only clips holding it.
