I have a 1994 dokota I just put a new map sensor and a new egr valve on it and it still runs rough when you start it. Then the idle moves up to around 1,000 rpm's. When you put it in drive it fall's

Did you clean your throttle body and Idle Control Valve of carbon?

Were is the idle control valve located at?

Usually attached to the throttle body or upper intake close to the throttle body.
