edil & starting problems
screw that controls edil wont stay put and in order to start it edil has to by way high and if turned down then it wont start and doesnt want to stay running or even start with summer around the corner im going to fry her motor
First of all, its IDLE. Do you have any lights on in your speedometer. Sounds like a problem in the fuel system(injector, pump etc). Also could be your idle control valve. Not too familiar with the colt though
if your screw is moving around coz of vibration. use thread locking compound; ex. loctite to keep screw in place. i hope this helps the idle stay within limit. happy motoring! :) ohhh and... be sure all vaccuum hoses are not leaking esp. rubber. they should be replaced if 5+yrs old.
