Where's the fuel filter located

you need to remove your battery so u can have space to access the fuel filter. it's located on the firewall right behind the intake manifold. it's pretty easy, the hardest thing is going to remove the clamp holding the filter to the bracket. all you have to do is remove the hairpin clips (there's 2 of them, one on the top and another one at the bottom) the top one comes off easy, but the bottom one will give u some trouble. if u buy a fuel filter at NAPA it should come with new clips, so that way u don't have to re-use your old ones. here's a pic of the hairpin clips. u have to sort of pull the "shipping tabs" apart while pulling it from the triangle on the front of the clip. once u get one out u will know how they work. to reinstall, u just pop the clips back in the line and push your fuel filter until u hear a clicking sound hope it helps
