have part 2 replace water pump on a dodge 97 neon, husband needs 2 see images.. also how do u tell if u need 2 replace waterpump or just gaskets?   ty

The water pump is located under the timing cover and is driven by the timing belt. A bit of advice, if you're planning on going through the hassle of just changing the water pump gasket, you may as well change the pump while you're in there.
