what other thing can cause battery to die

3 weeks ago truck regular service was done drive perfectly 2 days ago had to jumpstart for battery to turnover (battery was good) what else can l check for before buying another battery could something be killing it? truck engine  3.9 excellent runs very good.  Thanks

have the altenator checked and check the battery terminals maybe they need to be cleaned free of acid.

your local auto parts store (advance, o'reillys etc) should be able to check the starting and charging systems on the truck.
