First upgrades?

I recently bought a 2000 Contour SVT, it's green, has the svt 16" wheels, i removed the emblems, but that's about it. What should i do first to upgrade performance? It already has a great aftermarket exhaust, so i'm wanting some advice on chips, intakes, stuff like that. or let me know if you have some budget friendly exterior mod ideas too. Thanks

If you don't know yet, there is a company called BAT or British American Transfer that specializes in SVT parts. I would recommend one of their intake systems or their Euro shocks and struts. The suspension is already good on the car but this will make it so much better.
