Asked by Jul 24, 2019 at 01:08 AM about the 1999 Dodge Dakota

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My nefew was driving 1999
Dodge Dakota. He said the truck
was fine while driving, he parked
it and when started it again the
truck wouldn't go into reverse
anymore. There is plenty of
transmission oil in it all the other
gears still work and also when
you put it in neutral it also goes
forwards as well as drive.

1 Answer

Probably the reverse clutch or the control solenoid.
