Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turned off the Vehicle and heard a loud fan noise coming from the engine. It went for about 5 mins. Engine light then came on, traction light came on and the cruise light started to flash. All the lights are still on, and i have a lack of turbo power. Other than that the vehicle seems to drive fine.

Go have the codes read with a scan tool to find out what's going on.

Thankyou for the reply. The code I recieved was P2444, which i was told it was a seconadry air pump. At this point of time they have manage to clear it and the turbo now is fine. Though I am concerned that this will happen again and i will be out of pocket again. How much will it cost to replace a secondary air pump. And what is the cause of the airpump sticking.

I can't really give you a quote since Shops where I live are not the same shops where you live. If it's that it was sticking it may just have had some carbon build up and may just need cleaned. It's hard to say without being there myself to actually look into it. If it happens again, take it to a shop and get a quote and full diagnosis.
