will an engine from a 2000 Intrepid fit in a 2002

Should they didn't really change anything in the engine bay, are you swapping like a 3.2 for a 3.2? If your going from a 2.7 to a 3.5 then I believe you can keep the same trans from the 2.7 and be easy replacement from what I hear.

Same engine size means no problem, change in size means you'll have to transplant wire harnesses and computer more than likely. I usually suggest if you can afford to save up $3k, you can get a full rebuild with 100k mi warranty. AccurateEngines.com

My aunt has a 2001 Dodge Intrepid SE 4D engine with 47k miles, the car just got totaled from an accident and without insurance. Can she keep the car and resale the engine to place into another car not of the same make? Bubu Rodriguez
