2001 ford ranger 2.3 liter 5 speed automatic no crank no start

Asked by Aug 29, 2019 at 03:39 PM about the 2001 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 ford ranger, lifts work fine relays click
on key press, replaced ignition switch and neutral
safety switch, fuel pump kicks on and was recently
replaced but does not sustain fuel to the engine.
The engine will crank when bridging the solenoid,
had the starter tested and works as intended. If
fuel is manually put into the engine and starter is
bridged it cranks, and starts for a few seconds
sounds fine no clanking
