Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I'm driving or stopped at a
light my oil reader will drop to zero
and the check gauges light will come
on, the it will bounce back to regular
oil pressure and no check gauges.
Any idea on what I need to do to fix
this problem? I recently replaced my
oil pressure sening unit.

Check the oil pressure as it may be low. If oil pressure is within specs. the oil pressure sender could be defective. I am curious as to how many miles on this Sierra?
