all my gauges shut off and come on when they want

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Start with checking the battery. If it has any signs of being worn. Corrosion, build up around the terminals and any char marks at the terminals and cable ends. From what I have read and experienced that could be the issue. Have the battery and alternator tested. Hope that helps.
