Truck overheating

I have a 1974 chevy C10 and water is
spitting water like a tea kettle and i removed
my termostat and was wondering if anyone
can help me out thanks in advance

Sounds like you may need a water pump.

Sounded like a bad thermostat to me, and you need to purge the air out of the cooling system.
