The antifreeze is disappearing in my 2004 Caravan but the engine isn't overheating its not dropping onto the ground or going into the oil so its not an internal head gasket. I don't know if its going into the water pump but occasionally that makes a weird noise when revving up the engine so how can I figure out where the antifreeze is going without paying someone big bucks to say I don't know
Take it to a shop and have them pressure test the coolant system. They normally don't charge much (if anything) to diagnose it.
Hello, I had this problem too with my 3.0. (what's you engine?) Coolant leaked when pressure built, but evaporated with the heat before hitting ground. It was the water pump. Change it before it burns a head gasket and the repair bill goes up.
the intake gasket is that part of the coolant system? as I believe that is where the problem is cause was told to do a pressure test and make sure its at 25 psi
Was this fixed? I also have the same issue right now?
I have the same issue also. We just had the radiator replaced but it passed the pressure check and still not sure the problem is solved. We just got it out of the shop. That is where we see it on the ground is under the drivers side radiator.
Mine is leaking on the driver's side too. It doesn't leak until it gets hot. Then it leaks fast. Constant stream until the fluid is gone.
