Can I remove the engine from a 2005 Dodge Stratus from the top while leaving the automatic transaxle in place, or must the entire assembly be removed from the bottom?

Unfortunatly for you I am almost sure it has to come out from the bottom. Thats how they are put in at the factory. Bottoms UP.....
