Air system

Asked by Feb 10, 2018 at 12:19 PM about the 2005 Dodge Neon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My girlfriends 2005 Dodge Neon seems to be
blowing very dirty air.  Almost like a dirt colored
smoke.  This is when we turn the heat on.  Haven't
experimented with the ac.  The air filter was
replaced over the summer and she really doesn't
drive a ton.   Also there is no cabin filter? Help

Does the smoke put a film on the windshield that you have wipe off constantly? That means the heater core is leaking coolant into the HVAC system into tiny droplets that looks like dirty air. Have it repaired ASAP.
