I went to start My 2005 dodge and when i turned the key the power stays on i can take key out power will stay on but won't crank over

Sounds like a bad ignition switch/cylinder or module. If replacing cylinder check if token ring in place, if new module would likely require programming for anti-theft.

I tried to race ignition lock cylinder n it kept doing it. Is there a way to start it with out needing the key? that way I can still drive it till fixed
