Can not get the caliper back on. Not enough
space between bolt threads and back
enough?

Did you push the piston back into the caliper before putting the new pads on?

With the c clamps yes

Goes on the rotor good, but it not fat enough back to miss between the back pad and where the ends of the bolts would be

Do those go back, seems like the only option

Any ideas, is on the jack stands with the wheel off

Use a large screwdriver,and rock the caliper into place
