Alternator

Question type: General

Had my alt. Tested it works fine but when I
disconnect battery term it shut off it's a brand new
battery and good alt what could it be

DO NOT DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING!!!

Voltage regulator maybe bad in some cases the regulator is no more then a module connected to the alt. Itself I had a similar issue with my dodge had alt tested and tested good I went to my local used parts dealer bought a used alternator for 25 dollars put in an that was that
