blown radiator fuse on 2006 dodge stratus

Asked by Aug 30, 2008 at 09:46 PM about the 2006 Dodge Stratus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 dodge stratus that the radiator fan fuse keeps  blowing.  I have replaced the thermostat, the relay switch, and 5 fuses in one day.  Any suggestions to why the fuse keeps blowing?

A short or you're putting the wrong fuse in...

Im using a 40 fuse, that is what the owners manual calls for, is this the wrong one?

i had the same problem. it turned out it was the fan motor. you can find out which one it is by unplugging one of the fans and seeing if it blows the fuse.
