1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible: How do I replace a cut passenger side seat belt? Or do I have to replace the whole seat?

Asked by Jul 25, 2016 at 11:22 AM about the 1997 Chrysler Sebring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter's car needs the front passenger seat belt replaced. I can find
plenty of info on "fixing" a seat belt but this is not fixable. It has been cut. I
have been told that the whole seat needs to be replaced but I would really like
to confirm this before we spend money on anything. THANK YOU!

I found one online for $153 + shipping. Simply Google 1997 Chrysler Sebring seat belt and it'll come up. No, you don't have to replace the whole seat either! HTH. -Jim
