why does the check engine light keep blinking continuously on my 2000 Chrysler 300m?

Check engine keeps blinking continuously while driving and starts to run rough like it's
loosing power.I replaced the spark plugs but still the same.Car has about 185.000 miles
on it.Even on park the car shakes a little.

A good way to tell is to get the car scanned with a OBDii reader. Since your light is blinking a code is stored in memory. Any local auto part store will scan for free. Post the 4 digit code back here and help futher.

My 2002 did the same thing and it turned out to be O2 sensors.

What else can it be

In all your answers regarding the blinking engine light other than the sensor being defective, you did not mention that it could be the catalytic converter (exhaust system).
