I have a 1979 928 porsche and when i turn key to start, nothing happens, lights on dash come on but won't start
Check the voltage on your battery first, post back your result, you want over 12 Volts. We can proceed after you check it with your multimeter.
Did that, thanks. I finally tore into it, checked relays, ignition switch, and ended up being the starter. Thanks for your response.
Yea - love it when a car owner can fix his own car! Especially a 928!
Got starter replaced, still no luck, found crack in ignition switch and replaced, still no start, turned key on and jumped starter and car started. Can hear relay clicking. I'm stuck:(
