First thing to do would be to check fuses. If fuses are good, check light switch

I dont beleive there are fuses the the head lights and tail lights.

Ok then check for power at the light switch to see if switch is working

There is probably a "stop/tail" fuse but the headlights are protected by a fuseable link down by the starter and an internal circuit breaker in the headlight switch. One other note, the front park lights are NOT supposed to be on with the headlights. Cars 1967 and older were designed that way! HTH. -Jim
