is there gas leaking when you turn on the key. if so where if the fuel leaking can you post a photo

Look at the regulator located on the fuel rail ... without starting the engine ... turn the key On/Off a couple times and the fuel pump will cycle .... you may see a damp spot and smell the gas

could even be that you hit some thing and ruptured a fuel line look for leaks if you smell fuel its coming from some place
