I have recently just had a new transmission and still when I start the car and drive off the car then suddenly slows down like the the transmission is slipping!

I notice that if I slam the gas pedal down so
it revs over 3000 it will take off again! Please
help this is driving me crazy and the car

You are getting ripped off, the mechanics replacing the transmission should be able to help you. If the transmission is really slipping, you are slowly destroying the new one. Only suggestion I have is to find a reputable trans shop to repair it correctly, and back charge the idiots that worked on your car originally. Tell them your doing this before.

Yes take it back to the trans mechanics! It could be something simple like low transmition fluid or a bad transmition pump? That happened to me once & it was a spring in the valve shifter body. Stall speed converters can be bad right out of the box, sometimes mechanics forget to fill them up with fluid too.
