2005 - water in the trunk and now car is dead.  Is there a drain plug?

There should be a drain hose for the gutter that goes around your trunk opening. If it gets pulled out of the hole in the bottom of the trunk then rain water will collect in the trunk. Try and find the hose which will be at the low point in the gutter, probably near one corner and check it to make sure it is not plugged up and still drains to the outside of the car.

The dead car issue is hard to diagnose without more information.
