NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION TO GIVE A GOOD ANSWER, SORRY. Trouble codes would be a good start or how often this is happening.

Could be the alternator who knows , things need to be tested . If you're going to do your own repairs there are basic tools you need .ie. multi meter , scan tool ,

I would say loose battery cable with out even looking at a trouble code. I did this experiment and got lazy about tightening my battery cables and it did just that.. while in gear and driving it'll shut down like nothing. scenario 2.. throttle body going out. I just lost my TB 3 months ago and decided to run a dyno on it with FIXD in my OBD plug. It came up TB. I went to a refurbished parts store, European ( vw) and bought a used for $25, bought the new o ring gasket at a simple parts store and did the project in my driveway with my hex key. The reason why the TB is so critical is because after the engine starts when the key is turned over, the TBs job is to keep the motor running because you have air coming in from the SAI so that the air mixture is measured properly to keep the motor running AFTER spark/ initial combustion. Simple stuff. NOT saying that is the issue with your car.. just an idea
