HELP! PLEASE 2002 Windstar van won't start

I have a 2002 Windstar
van the anti-theft light
came on so far I have
changed the battery
because it was swollen
and corroded I have have
a locksmith come out
and do a diagnostic and
see if he could have he
said that it was not the
anti-theft or something
else but if not very
helpful then I am going to
check fuses today any
suggestions I have only a
spare key not the master
I bought the van off
some people and I asked
her if they have the
master key they said no
they only have the spare
how do I take the anti-
theft off or get my car
started if it's not that
please help any
suggestions are
welcomed
