Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

During driving I get a RED GEN light. It's not
related to OIL. Anybody else knows what
this can be ? 1964 RR SC III ? Thanks

Its a General light I think . It can indicate several things . But it's not OIL so what else it could be ?

Low voltage. Your car may have a generator rather than an alternator. I would check the charging voltage.

Red would mostly be an issue with the generator and the green is for low fuel. Sometimes the fuel gauge can be confusing.
