How do you remove back door wood trim? We have removed the door panel and retaining screws to the wood trim but can't get it to lift off like the front ones did.

The wood slimply slides up and the out. Sometimes the wood can lodge in rather firmly so using the base of your palm you can knock it in an upwards direction along the length of the wood.

In attempting to remove the door cappings from a Silver Cloud 3, I find that while the driver,s side capping removed easily, the other three seem to be held firmly in the location of the door pulls. Though the capping itself is loose it simply will not come off because it appears to be held firmly at the location of the pulls.Even pounding upward with a rubber mallet does no good. Any suggeestion?
