2002 Taurus turn key won't crank fuel pump won't prime

Asked by May 13, 2017 at 08:42 PM about the 2002 Ford Taurus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

For awhile car would just cut out but always
restart, now when you turn the key starter won't
crank and fuel pump won't prime. I changed fuel
pump, Maga fuse and ignition starter switch under
steering column, switched matching relays around
and have no blown fuses

What is the condition/voltage of the battery? Do you get any lights that come up on the dash or interior of the car? Maybe cables are corroded? Sounds like you have a short somewhere.
