Ford 2002 Taurus - did anybody have a problem with the heat always on? when I move the temp control knob to cold the air is still warm.

the control panell is bad.

where you move the temp control switch,they go bad.you can get one from a wrecked one and replace it.remove the dash cover around it remove 2 bolts unplug replace a 30 min job.

have the heater valve checked

Sorry no heater valve on it,all works off control panell.
