I have a 2002 Ford Mustang still in pretty good shape. The only problem I have ever had is a wiring problem in the steering column due to tilt wheel which I have replaced twice. Now, my ABS light is going on and off and this morning my odometer blacked out and then came back on. I had the car tested by computer for the ABS light but no codes came up. The mechanic at the brake place said it was either electrical or my ABS was going out and was about $300 to replace. Would take much more detailed diagnostics to find out. Anybody have any idea what this could be and the cost to fix? I'm starting to think electrical since now my odometer light is going out too....

You need a different code scanner than a generic one to get ABS codes. Dealers and better shops have the equipment. Most probably a wheel sensor vs an ABD module. Odometer light issue might just be a loose bulb.
