2001 cadillac sts information center says service suspension
If your STS has active suspension look out!! There are many things that can cause that message to appear on your driver information center. Many of the parts, I'm sure are no longer available. See if you can coax your local Cadillac Dealer into, at least looking at it. If not, try the Chevy Dealer. They tend to be a lot less snooty about looking at an older model. Good luck! HTH. -Jim
Before you put in the new shocks did. They ck the compressed to see if was working
The one on my caddie was located on the rear axle left side
Cadillac doesn't carry my shocks anymore had to order them from Gabriel shocks
My is located under the front bumper drivers side. 2003 SLS. The mounts for it rotted away and it was laying on the under carrage plastic cover, but it still worked.
Its is near the corner. in front, drivers side.
Hi guys I'm Dj my Cadillac sts 2001 has been parked for 5 years I went to go get it and it's saying on my dash don't drive over 90 . And my car was shaking kinda bad. I'm thinking it needs New tires?
If it was sitting that long with out being moved the tires have flat spots which will give you vibration
Ok just wondering I'll put 4 New ones on thanks carpetguy
