Where is the best place to get affordable service for 2003 Cadillac DeVille? Worried that dealer might be a top off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2003 Cadillac DeVille leaking coolant, and
idling very rough. Running s little tougher 64-
70 mph on very smooth freeway also.
Worried that going to a dealer would be
more expensive than necessary

Go to a good independent shop instead. Look at reviews if you can and ask friends for a good mechanic in your area.
As this Cadillac has the dreaded Northstar engine, being a Cadillac owner myself, you will need to find a shop that is well versed in these engines, so do some research on the independant shops in your area, find one that has good reviews and works on your vehicle and go there, these Cadillacs are not cheap to work on no matter where you go, but you will get more bang for your buck at an independent shop. I would take it to the dealership for the initial evaluation. They are much more knowledgeable than many independents. And yes, it is going to be expensive.
"affordable" and "2003 Cadillac" do not go together- get another car-
