I changed my oilpan gasket now my truck won't start I had to jack up motor to do it

Maybe you pinched a wire or you pulled a wire out when the motor was lifted. There is no reason why the car shouldn't start by just changing the gasket on a oil pan

Does the engine crank or is it completely dead?
