I have a 74 ford f100 that starts fine the after awhile it wants to die but struggles to stay on I've changed spark plugs, points, wires and still sounds like a bad miss

Have you done a compression check? Is the distributor shaft bearing worn, it can cause an engine miss due to an unstable dwell, is the breaker plate worn out?
