Can I install a middle 3rd seatbelt on my1968 F100?

Question type: Car Customization

Working on making my 1968 F100 roadworthy again and safe to drive my
family.  I'd like to install 3 point harness belts with a third belt in the middle.  It
has two lap belts.  Was a third belt an option then?  Is it possible/reasonable to
add a third 3 point belt?  Or even just a 3rd lap belt?

I doubt it was an option. Install the belt by drilling holes in the floor. Use large, heavy washers to reinforce the mounting points. I think you are stuck with a lap belt.
