Power steering hose hits engine

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Question. Bought my 72LTD from a guy last year who told me the power
steering hose was just replaced but it rubs against the engine and will wear
down again. Ever seen this? It's about to go again. Maybe its the wrong
fitting? Can't move the pump obviously.

might be a case of an aftermarket part not exactly matching factory OEM. Post this on Crownvic.net, or forum.grantorinosport.org, there's lots of topics on LTDs and other older Fords there, someone can tell you what that fitting should look like.
