fuel filter location

I have a 1971 LTD with a 429 engine. It has set a while and while it will start
and run briefly, it then dies. I suspect a fuel filter. Can you tell ne where to look
for that on the car so I can replace it?

Set awhile is how long? A couple years? Drain the fuel tank, replace the filter and rebuild the carb.

Screws into the fuel pump. Motorcraft part number FG14C. Hope that helps! Jim
