My car won't start , just clicks one time
Call the AAA, they have a great battery service, will come to you and tell you what's wrong.
and twist the battery cables on the posts to make a better contact..try jumping it/charge battery..or take out battery and have it checked somewhere..if no AAA .right mark... then there is that ford solenoid.
If you have a keyless remote start then check the battery in it. Check the keys for it as well. A locksmith or Ford dealership can reset all for a fee anywhere from $100-300. The internet search and You Tube videos will give instructions on how to reset everything however it will be a temporary repair until the computer is set correctly. Most local yocals don't know how to do this so check repairs online for year and make/model of vehicle. Opting to install a bypass costs around the same but no more problems with the start. ie: alarm won't work and ignition will engage. If you have the manual that came with the car the instructions are in it otherwise check out justgivemethedamnmanual.com online. Hope this helps!
Does a solenoid make it only click one time when trying to crank it..
