What does is mean if cylinder 6 has no compression? Is this expensive to fix?
I am looking to buy a Windstar but I have been told cylinder 6 has no compression. Is this serious? How much and how difficult is it to fix
Yes it is expensive. And you don't want it on less its free. And then only if it's super nice. Your looking at a head gasket at the very least.
Run away from this vehicle as fast as you can!! It could also be a burned valve, shattered piston, or thrown (broken) connecting rod. All are super BIG bucks!! HTH. -Jim
HOW FAST CAN YOU RUN THE OTHER WAY ? GO GO GO
Thanks everyone...I didn't know. I am desperately looking for a cheap but reliable vehicle so this helps a lot! I'm sure I will have more questions. lol
You're welcome. Glad to help. -Jim
