Wheel alignment is just that, you have the wheels aligned to the car for toe, caster and camber, so it drives straight down the road. Tracking is how the tires are positioned and roll based on the alignment. HTH's.

if your rear tires don't track straight in reference to the front the car will handle poorly and possibly dart to one side under heavy braking.

well could tracking or wheel alignment be the root problem to the problem iam haveing that when i take a left/righr turn the steering wheel does not return to centre as you have to put light pressure on it to bring it back to that position if i didnt the car would crash.

i don't think so. that would probably have to be a pretty sever front problem like castor. left AND right. did it start suddenly ?

does it do it on any turn or just on very sharp turns ?
