I am looking for a 500Hp low CR engine to put in my MONZA what do you guys recommend

can get a low CR out of a 400?


500 horse in a Monza? I hope you plan on reinforcing the the whole car to support that kind of power, the biggest engine I have seen in a Monza was a 305 and it was still a daily driver. I believe Kelly is right, your stuck with a small block, you might get a 350 horse Chevy 350 to go in there, but even with that you are going to have to beef it up structurally.

if you want and have the money,,,you can build a 9.5-1 ...454ci small block..with an aftermarket block....id build a 327 block with a 283 crank (302) in it it will fell like 500 hp

Yeah I reinforce the frame. I just got off the phone with jeggs and they have a new small block 454 block for less then 2g's
