They Have A hypro 289 motor like the Mustang and I believe they interchange under the runnin gear they both have 9 inch rearend

That was a typo those are 1965 and 1966..my bad... but the pictures are right for '65 and '66

Call me a fuddy-duddy but a set of 1965 wheels belongs on a 1965 car...alright...puritain...straight shooter...museum quality please, like a set of groucho eyes and mustache...need I say more~ sheesh, it's not MY car, but kids these days...

ANY ford,of those years, that have the 289 HP,will have a K,as the 5th digit,on their VIN..Neither the 65,OR 66, came with the high-Performance 289K engine. The standard 289,A 2 barrel carb,,and 289 C 4 barrel carb,,were the standard fare....The 271 horsepower 289 HP was Mustang/Fairlane..
