Red wire on ignition switch going to the battery

The red wire on the ignition switch plug going to the battery needs to be replace .how do i
remove old one from the plug

It's a work in progress thing, keep scrolling. This guy cut and spliced. If you choose that, use heat-shrink for a good splice
